Horse Tack Opinions

I have very strong horse tack opinions. My name is Karen Boysen and horses have been my passion for nearly 30 years. So you can see why I have strong opinions.

I've competed in Hunters and Jumpers in college (and after) with great success and I've even managed a large boarding stable. While I don't compete any longer I keep my hand in the game by training a small group of new riders here in Georgia.

Since most of my students are fairly new to riding, my horse tack opinions are regularly sought after. There are many opinions out there. But it's important for each and every one of you to have access to more than one. As I've said, mine are based on real experience in the horse world. Compare and contrast what you hear at your barn, with the information I will share with you here.

One of the great things about this website is the ability to share your horse tack opinions as well. While I have a lot of experience, there are things I may not have considered. Also, I am only one person and have a young son, so my time is limited. As a result, I will contribute thoughts and opinions on a regular basis, but I hope you will critique them, or offer your own as well.
